There will be an open house at Fire Station #7 from 6-8 p.m. on Wednesday, October 2, 2013. EagleRidge Energy operates both Drilling and Production Sites and will have a representative available to answer questions. In addition, District 3 City Council Member Jim Engelbrecht and other City staff members will also attend the meeting to answer questions.
The community room at Fire Station #7 only holds approximately 20 people at a time. As a result, the meeting’s format was designed to allow attendees the opportunity to drop in for a meet and greet and obtain information directly from the operator or City contacts. No formal presentation will be given, so please feel free to arrive anytime between 6-8 p.m. If you have specific questions regarding these sites
that may require research, please email those questions to firstname.lastname@example.org before
noon tomorrow. I will compile the questions and share those with the operator
to ensure we can perform any necessary research prior to the open house.
Come and learn about the gas drilling which is being conducted by EagleRidge Energy in our area.
There will be presentations on the history and policy contexts of fracking in Denton, health impacts, and information about how to get involved.
